There’s No Place Like Camp
Located in Richardton/Taylor ND, Kidz Kamp has been welcoming campers of ages 3-9 to participate in a wide variety of programs and activities since 2020. We have a high staff to camper ratio that ensures every camper at Kidz Kamp has an amazing and unique camp experience in a safe and fun atmosphere.
We are a traditional Day Camp with a legacy of rituals - both new and old - that are unique to Kidz Kamp and that make the time with us so enjoyable and enriching for our campers.
Our mission
It all started in the spring of 2020. Everyone was locked up inside and Kids had no place to go. For many weeks we worked to create a way for kids to be able to get out and enjoy being with friends again. Eventually we were able to find a week in early august that worked. As much fun as we had, it was to hot to bring the kids outside for long periods of time. We decided to move it to mid-June for the convenience and cooler temperatures. Last year we decided that given the success we had in 2020, we’d like to continue creating an opportunity for kids to return to camp. We believe in creating a safe and comfortable atmosphere for the kids. Throughout the week, we develop friendships and bonds with each of them. The kids’ health is our top priority. Our facilities are cleaned between each session to ensure everyone stays healthy. At camp we do a variety of different games, crafts, and activities including painting, freeze dance, show-n-tell, Water Wednesday, obstacle courses and more!
